About The Author

Timothy Horton, M.A.

Tim has a BS Degree in Social Work and Psychology from Abilene Christian University. He has a M.S. in Pastoral Counseling and a M.A. in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from Trinity College of Graduate Studies. He has over 20 years of experience in the human service field, including 10 years of experience of working with diverse populations of sex offenders in correctional,outpatient, and residential settings. He is a Clinical member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA), and a professional member of the American Correctional Association.

Tim Is also the Co-Author of a book for sex offenders with developmental disabilities titled:
Healthy Choices: Creative Ideas For Working With Sex Offenders With Developmental Disabilities.
